For 12 seasons, Flash of Brass has toured Western New York and the Eastern US, sharing the Good News with a unique sound. The group has performed for audiences locally as well as in other states and is based out of rural WNY. Bringing you a blend of southern gospel in tight family harmonies, along with a flash of brass featuring unique arrangements of great classics, the group's music brings joy to the soul and comfort to the weary.
We are a ministry of encouragement!
Flash of Brass has responded to God's call by accepting invitations for churches of all sizes. As Matthew's gospel reminds us, "Where two or three are gathered in My name, I am there in the midst of them". If it's a full concert, special music night, outdoor fellowship, or even a dinner, Flash of Brass will gladly accept the call to share the Good News, whatever the opportunity!

To our audience and partners in prayer for the Flash of Brass,
The past few years have been very busy times for the Flash of Brass. The group played a very busy schedule with twenty-one concerts across NY and PA in 2006. We made new friends along the way and we were fortunate to share the stage with Jill Kelly, wife of Buffalo's Hall of Fame quarterback Jim Kelly, The Needhams, The Churchmen and The Wells Family. Flash of Brass produced its first DVD with videography provided by Mr. Tim Dart. Flash of Brass has reached out to the many folks who have supported and witnessed the Lord's hand move in so many of our concerts. We have been fortunate in that the Lord chose to use us, his servants, in a mighty way and we thank Him for the gifts and opportunity to serve.
We concluded our 2006 season with a very special concert at Warsaw, NY in recognition of the Veterans who have sacrificially served our country. Our ministry of encouragement was shared with Pennsylvanians during the week following the Amish school shootings and to the Buffalo area in the midst of digging out of a devastating October snow storm. In addition to being a ministry for audiences locally, Flash of Brass had the privilege of reaching out to folks across the nation. Flash of Brass was featured on the national broadcast of TCT Alive with prophecy expert Grant Jeffries viewed by thousands.
So what is ahead for Flash of Brass? We pray that the Lord will have His hand upon the direction of each group member as we look to grow our ministry of encouragement, both individually and collectively, as was started many years ago. We trust that each will remain true to His calling in our lives. Stay tuned and do stay in touch!
